Rolly Receipts EcoThermal Receipt Paper Complies with Proposition 65
Proposition 65 is a California law requiring businesses to provide warnings about exposure to certain chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects, or reproductive harm. Recently, Bisphenol S (BPS) has been added to the Proposition 65 list, and businesses using thermal receipt paper may need to comply with this law.
Why Sample Our Receipts?
EcoThermal Receipts:
Phenol Free: EcoThermal Receipts are BPA and BPS free (Phenol Free). BPA & BPS are known carcinogenic (cancer causing) chemicals used in normal thermal receipt paper. These chemicals are skin soluble as well, meaning that within 30 seconds of touching a receipt, the chemicals will enter your bloodstream. Some receipts advertise as "BPA Free" but are using BPS as the alternative chemical, which is an equally as harmful chemical. With each receipt that is discarded, BPA & BPS enter the waste stream as well. EcoThermal Receipts use a Pergafast matrix as a safer, alternative chemical.
FSC-Certified Paper: EcoThermal Receipts are produced with a FSC Certified Paper. This ensures that the supply chain is responsibly sourcing the paper to produce EcoThermal Receipts.
Plastic Free Product: EcoThermal Receipts are coreless! This means that at the end of each roll there is no plastic core/waste that is being discarded into the waste stream.
One Tree Planted: For each 1 Case Used we Plant 1 Tree via our partnership with Trees For The Future. This completely offsets Rolly Receipts eco-footprint and cuts into our customers eco-footprint.
Recyclable: Our paper is recyclable as it is Phenol Free. We advise checking with your local processing center to confirm that Phenol Free Paper is accepted.
